Bio

According to her Washington State death certificate, Ann was the daughter of Ruben Jones and Elizabeth Parks. She was the wife of "Edward Thomas Bradley". Obit: Kent Advertiser-Journal, Oct. 26, 1922, p-1 "Obituary of Mrs. H. T. Bradley Ann Elizabeth Jones was born in Henry County, Missouri, august 18, 1837. On December 28, 1854 she married Henry T. Bradley at the age of 17. Eight children were born to this union, of which six children survive. The father and mother followed their children to washington, arriving here in March 1901, making this their home ever since. The husband and father, Mr. H. T. Bradley, passed away January 15, 1911. Mrs. Bradley survived her husband by 11 years, living to the age of 85 years, 2 months and 2 days. She passed away October 20 at 3:45 p.m. at the home of her son, H. L. Bradley of this city. Rev. C. A. Nethery of the First Baptist church of this city officiating. Interment was in Kent cemetery beside her husband. 'Asleep in Jesus oh how sweet, To be for such a slumber meet! With holy confidence to sing That death hath lost his venomed sting.'"
