Bio
Eliza was born to James Amos Stice and Sarah Margaret "Maggie" Minton-Stice. She was the 4th of 8 children. Her siblings were; Elizabeth "Bess" Stice-Walters, Rebecca Stice-Evans, George Stice, Thomas Stice, Richard Marion (or maybe Marion Richard) Stice, Mary Mrytle Stice and Albert Stice. Eliza married Robert Buckhanan Goodwin on Sep 6, 1913 and they had 8 children, Laede Enever Goodwin-Hawthorne, Delmer Goodwin, Juanita Goodwin, Mary Marie Goodwin-Miller, Robert Lee "Abe" Goodwin, Vereda Goodwin-Priddy-Benson, Leroy Goodwin and Opaline Goodwin-Bacon. Granny lived a hard life, she worked their farm, raised her children and endured physical abuse by her husband. Granny had a wonderful sense of humor and could spit her snuff with precision.
