Bio

The death of Mrs. Anna C. Rose, mother of Mrs. George Dimick and Mrs. D. H. Mace of this county, occurred at her home at Swedona, Ills., Monday, Nov. 24 and the funeral was held the following Wednesday. Mrs. Rose lacked but a single day of being 81 years of age at her death, which was the result of paralysis and rheumatism, her illness extending over a period of five weeks. Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Dimick returned Friday night from Illinois having been there during the final illness and burial of Mrs. Rose. There were also present her daughter, Mrs. D. H. Mace of this county, Mrs. John Shank of Superior, Nebr., Mrs. Laura Stroberg of Blockton, Ia., Theodore Rose of Bitter Root, Montana and Emil Rose whose home is at Swedona and who has cared for his aged parent during her illness. She made a visit to Nebraska last winter and visited the Mace and Dimick families while here, and has many Polk county friends and acquaintances who will regret to learn of her demise.
