Bio
Published in the Athens Review October 10, 1940 G.G. Graham, 71, well known citizen of Eustace, died at 10:30 Sunday morning at his home in that town following a short illness. Burial was at Moorehead cemetery Tuesday afternoon at 4:00 o'clock. Deceased was a native of Henderson county, having been born in the Cottonwood community. He moved to Eustace early and had lived there most of his life. He was the eldest son of the late W.H. (Uncle Hugh) Graham, one of the early day representatives in the legislature from this county. Surviving are his wife; four sons, William, Newburn, and Jester of Eustace and Ambrose of Van Nye, California; two daughters, Mrs. Gertrude Ferris of Richardson, Texas and Mrs. Neva Stephenson of Van Nye, California. One sister, Mrs. W.L. Ballard and one brother, A.G. Graham of Eustace also survive. Deceased had been a member of the Baptist Church since early youth.
