Obituary from Temple Daily Telegram March 3, 2011 Services for Michael Bruce "Mike" "the fence man" Hajda, 58, of Belfalls, formerly of Temple, will be 7 p.m. Friday at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Temple. Mr. Hajda died Tuesday, March 1, in a Waco hospital. He was born April 15, 1952, to Frank and Alice Anna Zett Hajda in Taylor. He was a graduate of Temple High School. He was self-employed and attended St. Mary Catholic Church in Temple. Survivors include his wife, Nancy Tinsley; a daughter, Lisa Marie Hajda of Belton; a stepson, Joseph Sousa of Fort Stewart, Ga.; a stepdaughter, Megan Mosley-Mick of Troy; a brother Frank Hajda of Temple; and two sisters, Rita Nance of Troy and Rebecca Price of Temple. In liew of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Mary Catholic School, 1019 S. 7th St., Temple, TX 76504. Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. today at the funeral home with a rosary recited at 7 p.m. Visitation will continue 5:30 p.m. until the service on Friday.
