Bio
She was the daughter of Walter W. and Ola Wilkinson Ward. Her parents are buried in Concord Cemetery. Oma Lee retired after 30 years of service as a supervisor at the Industrial Garment Factory. She taught Sunday School at the First Baptist Church of Palestine for 50 years. She was residing in Palestine at the time of her death there. She shares a stone with her husband, Homer Eldridge Sanders, who preceded her in death. She was survived by one sister, Ola V. Ward Fitzgerald and one niece, Betty Fitzgerald, both of Montalba. Pallbearers were Orville Wilbanks, George Magee, Bro. Isabell, Philip Waldrum, W. H. Ward, and Allen Ward. Her obituary was in the Palestine Herald-Press, Friday. 31 March 2006.
