James Delbert "Buck" Beasley was the son of Arden Leon Beasley and Willie Mae Thomas Beasley. He was born in Jones County and lived there most of his life. He was a veteran of WWII. He was the father of a daughter, Starla Beasley Brown. He was preceded in death by his wife, Berta Jeanne Beasley.
