The Austin American Austin, Texas · Tuesday, August 05, 1941 TAYLOR, Aug. -(Spl)-Mrs. Johanna Manak, 81, was found dead at the home of her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Labay, shortly after 6 p.m. Monday. No coroner's verdict had been given. She was born in Europe, Jan. 31. 1860, and had lived in Taylor for 45 years. Survivors are eight children, John Manak of Ennis, Mrs. Agnes Tallah of Terrell, Mrs. Anna Mazac of San Antonio, John Volchar of Poth, Mrs. John Polaska of Floresville, Mrs. Jessie Tallah of Friendship, Janie Abate of Eloise and Mrs. Labay of Taylor, and several grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 8 a. m. Wednesday at the Floresville | Catholic church. The burial will be there.
