Services for Charles Thomas "C.T." Douglass, 94, of Texaskana, were held May 17, 2000 in the Chapel of the Last Supper in the Garden of Memories Memorial Park with Masonic rites under the auspices of the Lufkin Masonic Lodge #669 AF&AM. Burial in the Garden of Memories Memorial Park. Mr. Douglass was born Jan. 4, 1906, in Mart, Texas to Mattie (Thomas) and Thomas Cantrell Douglass Sr. He died May 15, 2000 in Texarkana, Texas. Mr.Douglass was a retired machine shop supervisor for Lufkin Industries, following 30 years of service. He was a member of Lufkin Masonic Lodge #669 AF&AM. He had been living in Texarkana for the past five yers and was a former resident of Carthage and Lufkin. Survivors: Daughter and son-in-law, Charlene and Linwood Shivers of Nederland, Texas Daughtr, Zelda Scott of Georgetown, Texas Granddaughters, Ellen Burnett of Port Neches, Texas and Karen Pierce of Georgetown Grandsons, Mike Scott of Euless, Texas, Brett Scott of Lake Murvall, Texas Nine great-grandchildren Brothers, Mervin Douglass of Corpus Christi, Thomas Cantress Douglass, Jr., of Bryan, texas A number of nieces, nephews and other relatives. Preceded in death: Wife, Evelyn Douglass, in 1984 Gipson-Metcalf Funeral Directors.
