Bio
Carol Ann Hollabaugh Barksdale, loving wife, mother and nana passed away May 8, 2011, at Baylor Medical Center in Waxahachie, surrounded by her loved ones, following a courageous battle with cancer. She was born Jan. 20, 1944, in Pine Bluff, Ark., to Clen Weeding and Tennie Evelyn Wells Hollabaugh. She grew up in Midlothian, graduating from Midlothian High School in 1961. She married Edward Ray Barksdale at Midlothian Church of Christ in Midlothian on April 12, 1963. They settled in Midlothian, where they began their 48-year journey of life, love and family together.
