Graveside services for Sybil Riley, 90, of Lufkin were held April 25, 2000 at the Garden of Memories Memorial Park. Mrs. Riley was born Dec. 21, 1908 in Hico, Hamilton County, to Clyde and Thena Mae (McPherson) Stewart and died April 23, 2000 at her residence. She had resided in Lufkin for the past 60 years and was a homemaker. Mrs. Riley was a member of First United Methodist Church and a Sunday school teacher for many years. Survivors: Husband of 67 years, Burton Riley Daughters, Mary L. Smith and Carol R. Spitler Grandchildren: 5 Great-grandchildren-9 Niece, Martha Dailey Brother, Gene Stewart Sister, Ann Carroway Funeral Home, Lufkin,directors
