Nola Mae "Cookie" Morris, 90, died December 12, 2012 at her home in Petal. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m., Friday, December 14, 2012 at Hillcrest Cemetery. Rev. Jimmie Garrard will officiate with prayer by Rev. Shane Freeman. Mrs. Morris was a Baptist and lifetime member of Macedonia Baptist Church. She was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil B. Morris; son, Tommy Morris; and great-grandson, Joshua Trey Walters. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Dianne and Grady McCardle; three granddaughters, Michelle Walters, Janene Page and Amy Morris; one grandson, Eddy Bo Morris; nine great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren, all of Petal. Visitation will be Thursday from 5 – 8 p.m. at Moore Funeral Home in Petal.
