Obit: "Arroyo Grande Woman Dies" Arroyo Grande, Sept. 9 - Funeral services for Mrs. Antonia Raiter, 78, who passed away at her home here Saturday, were held Monday morning. Cause of death was paralysis with which she had been stricken two weeks previous. Mrs. Raiter was a native of Czecho-Slovakia and came to the United States many years ago. About 22 years ago, Mrs. Raiter and her son and daughter, Antone and Marie, came to Arroyo Grande and purchased the home east of this city, where they have resided continuously since. Mrs. Raiter was a kind hearted friend and neighbor and made many friends during her residence in this city. Funeral services were held at 10 a.m., Monday in St. Patrick's church, where high mass was celebrated by Rev. Father O'Connor. The pall bearers where J. Kadlovek, Charles Maha, Fred Marsalek, M. Chapek, Valentine Huebner and Florian Marsalek. Interment was in the L.D.E.S. cemetery. Mrs. Raiter leaves to mourn the loss of a devoted Christian mother, her son, Antone Raiter and daughter, Mrs. Marie Mallory.
