WALTER W. COLE RAGLEY — Funeral services for Walter W. Cole, 63, of Route 1 Ragley, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Creel Memorial Gardens Cemetery Chapel near Bel. La. The Rev. Gordon McDaniel, pastor of the Clear Creek Bible Church of Reeves, will officiate. Burial will be in the Creel Memorial Gardens Cemetery under direction of Ardoin Funeral Home of Kinder. The body will remain family residence until 1:30 p.m. Saturday. Mr. Cole died at 8:30 p.m. Thursday in a Lake Charles hospital following a lengthy illness. He was a lifelong resident of the Ragley - Reeves area, and was a member of the Clear Creek Bible Church. He was a retired Shell Oil Co. employee and a cattleman. Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Effie Parker Cole; two sons, Walter E. Cole of Plaquemine, and Robert A. Cole of Ragley; two sisters; Mrs. Bessie Hay of Brandon, Miss., and Mrs. Maggie Kingrey of Gillis; and six grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Peggy Cole LeGlue.
