Minnie (Tuttle) Dobson Trollope, 93 years of age, of Holdrege, passed away on Thursday, May 5, 2011 at Holdrege Memorial Homes. Minnie was born March 9, 1918 in Palmer, Nebraska, the youngest of five children born to Charles S. and Adeline Dora (Mithofer) Tuttle. Minnie received her education from Cherry County, Nebraska. On September 16, 1940, she was united in marriage to Paul J. Dobson at Valentine, Nebraska and the couple made their home in Emmett, Idaho, where Paul was employed for Kiewit Construction. While living in Emmett, Minnie worked in an apple orchard, picking and sorting apples. Paul passed away in November 1977. Minnie then moved back to Nebraska in 1979, where she made her home in Holdrege. Minnie enjoyed playing Bingo, with this hobby she met Lamon Trollope and the couple were united in marriage in 1987 at Phillipsburg, Kansas. Lamon passed away in 1991. Minnie moved to Sunrise View in 2006, then began to make her home at Holdrege Memorial Homes in 2008. Minnie enjoyed sewing, making quilt tops, camping and snowmobiling in the mountains. She was a member of the Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church in Holdrege. Besides her parents and husbands: Paul Dobson and Lamon Trollope, Minnie was preceded in death by sister, Sadie Sherman and her husband, Clifford; brothers: Leonard Tuttle and his wife, Leo, Raymond Tuttle and his wife, Jean, and Robert "Bob" Tuttle. Minnie is survived by sister-in-law, Emily Tuttle of Springview, Nebraska; and a host relatives and friends. Inurnment was held in the Emmett Cemetery in Emmett, Idaho.
