Bio
Gerald Wayne Sangalli, of Hahira, passed away April 22, 2011, in Denver, Colo., with his family after a two-year battle with cancer. Born in Texarkana, Ark., April 6, 1942, to Charles and Hazel Sangalli, Gerald spent time in the Army as a specialized gun operator. For most of Gerald's life, he was a private business owner of a transportation company and traveled the country. Gerald enjoyed fishing, camping and was an all time fan of drag racing. Gerald is survived by his wife, Susan; his daughter Christina; her family Nathan and Conor Voorhies of Denver, Colo. His brother, Charles Dean, and his wife Wanda Sangalli of Texarkana, Ark.; sister-in-law, Jackie Thomas and her husband Bill of Hahira; as well as nieces and nephews. The viewing was held in Denver, Colo., April 25, 2011, at Horan and McConaty Funeral Home. A private memorial service for Gerald will be held in Valdosta, Ga., on May 28, 2011. — Cremation Society of Colorado
