Bio

Reeves— Funeral services for N. C. Reeves, 61, will be at 10 a. m. Saturday, Feb. 8, in Reeves Baptist Church. The Revs. Richard Gillespie and Seth Baggett will officiate. Burial will be in Creel Memorial Gardens in Bel under the direction of Ardoin Funeral Home of Kinder. The body will be at the church until time of services. Mr Reeves died at 1:20 p.m. Thursday after a sudden illness. He was a lifelong resident of this area and an employee of the Allen Parish Police Jury. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Zoe L. Reeves of Reeves; two sons, William E. and Richard G. Reeves, both of Lake Charles; two daughters, Mrs. James Ritter of Reeves and Mrs. Charles Hanchey of Lake Charles; one brother, William E Reeves of Morgan City; three sisters, Mrs. Anna Belle Morris, Mrs. Muriel Sarvaunt, and Mrs. Madge Cavenah, all of Reeves, and nine grandchildren.
