Willene "Grandmother" Killion, 85, of Slocum, Texas died May 1, 2011 at her residence. Burial in Crawford Cemetery is under the direction of Bailey & Foster Funeral Home. She was born December 5, 1925 in Anderson County to Ernest and Zeta Alsobrook Day. She was a homemaker. Mrs. Killion was an avid Slocum Mustang fan. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Clyne "Buck" Killion; a son, Tim Killion; sister, Erma Jean Day Hendricks; and a brother, Francis Day. Mrs. Killion is survived by a daughter, Jeanell Jones and husband Bobby; grandchildren, Roger Jones and wife Amy, and Robin Welch and husband William; great-grandchildren, Aaron Cox, Justin Jones, Micah Lumpkins, and Jennifer Jones, all of Slocum.
