Martha Hans April 19, 1909 - August 9, 2010 Martha Hans of Utopia passed away on August 9, 2010 in her residence at the age of 101. She was born on April 19, 1909 in Leakey, Texas to William and Julia Stapleton. She married Claude Hans on March 19, 1926. She is survived by one daughter, June Mauldin and husband, Sid of Utopia, Texas; three grandsons; Sid Mauldin Jr., Bob Mauldin and Pat Brent; and Tom Mauldin and wife, Cindy all of Utopia, Texas; five great grandchildren; Bobby Mauldin and wife, Darci; Jena Smothers and husband, Ron; Thomas Mauldin; Marisa Mauldin all of Utopia, Texas; and Carrie Mauldin of Austin, Texas; great-great grandsons; Riley and Jett Smothers; Connor Croix Mauldin; Holt and Dash Mauldin; and Pat's daughter; Jennifer Manis and husband, Kris and their son; Krisjen Manis. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband. Funeral services will be held on Friday August 13, 2010 at 10:00 AM at Utopia Methodist Church with burial to follow in Vanderpool Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Bob Mauldin, Bobby Mauldin, Sid Mauldin Jr., Tom Mauldin, Thomas Mauldin, and Ron Smothers.
