Lodies Mae Davis Lodies M. Davis, 81, of Vidor, Texas, died Friday, April 29, 2011 at Oakwood Manor Nursing Home in Vidor. A native of Beaumont, Texas, she was a lifelong resident of Vidor. Lodies worked for Southwestern Bell Telephone and was working the switch boards when the calls came in about the attack on Pearl Harbor in 1941. She spent most of her life as a homemaker for her family. Funeral services were held at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Burial followed at Williamson Cemetery in Vidor. Lodies is survived by her sons Floyd Lee Korman and William R. Davis; daughter Betty Cofer; brother William M. Korman; 13 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren.
