Bio

Marilyn Jane Davis Chilton, of Lehi, Utah, passed away on April 27, 2011. She was born July 6, 1933 in Lehi, Utah, first child of Ralph Winn Davis and Connie Moselle Cunningham Davis. She attended Lehi High School, where she met her sweetheart Kerlin Earl Chilton. They married on October 5, 1951 and were later sealed in the Salt Lake Temple. Marilyn loved music and was an accomplished pianist and organist. She was also a skilled seamstress. She was Relief Society president in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints three different times and enjoyed working on humanitarian projects. Her greatest love was her family and she loved to visit, have family gatherings, and go on outings with her children and grandchildren. She is survived by her husband, Kerlin Earl Chilton; three children: MerriLyn Chilton (Andy) Diaz, Peggy June Chilton (Larry) Feld, and Lawrence Kerlin (Doreen) Chilton; fifteen grandchildren; thirty great-grandchildren; her brother, Don Ralph (Linda) Davis; and her sister, Katheryn Davis (Kenneth) Fox. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, May 2, 2011 at Wing Mortuary, 118 East Main Street, Lehi, Utah. Family and friends may visit on Monday morning from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. prior to the services. Interment at Lehi City Cemetery, 1100 North 400 East, Lehi, Utah.
