Susan's grave is unmarked. I believe she was likely laid to rest next to her first husband, William Crouch. Married (1) William Crouch (05 Oct 1840 Todd Co., KY) Married (2) Reuben Marion Abbott (14 Feb 1875 Moultrie Co., IL) OBITUARY: "Mrs. Susan Abbott died at the home of her grandson, Geo. McDaniel, at Bruce, Saturday night, April 11, at the ripe old age of 86 years. The funeral was held Monday afternoon at one o'clock at the Jonathan Creek Church, conducted by Elder Dudley of Liberty Church. Interment was in the adjoining cemetery. Mrs. Abbott's maiden name was Susan Sears. She was born in Kentucky in 1822. She was married to Wm. Crouch in Kentucky. Mr. Crouch died in 1871 and in 1875 she married Marion Abbott, who died seven years ago. At the time of her death Mrs. Abbott was living with her grandson, Geo. McDaniel. Joe Elzy, who lives on the Wm. Lanum farm, west of Bruce, is also a grandson, and Mrs. Frank Leeds of East Nelson is a granddaughter. Mrs. Abbott is survived by two children, Mrs. Bettie Fleshner of Neoga, and Mrs. Susan Abbott of Gurdon, Ark. Mrs. Abbott's two daughters and a granddaughter, Mrs. ?.R. Abbott of Gurdon, Ark. Attended the funeral. Deceased was a faithful member of the Christian church and a splendid woman. Deceased and her first husband came to Moultrie County about 1842 from Kentucky."
