Obituary, The Oklahoman, October 23, 1997 Barbara M. Patterson, 81, of Oklahoma City, passed away on October. 20, 1997. She was born on April 29, 1916 in Scott County, Arkansas to Fred and Cora (Slaughter) McCutchen. Barbara was a secretary for the Oklahoma City Public Schools for 29 years. She was a member of Capitol Hill Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bryce and her son, Bryce Patterson, Jr. Survivors include daughter, Gayle Petersen of Oklahoma City; three sisters, Mrs. Jo Billie Garner of Greenwood, Arkansas, Mrs. J.C. Patterson of Lavaca, Arkansas, and Mrs. Juana Couch of Saginaw, Texas; two granddaughters, Ms. Kelly Patterson of Astoria, New York and Mrs. Kristen Bronner of Hanover, New Hampshire; and two grandsons, Erich and Brad Petersen both of Oklahoma City. Graveside services will be held 2:00 P.M. Friday, October 24, 1997, at Rose Hill Burial Park.
