C. E. JACK KRECK SERVICES SET THURSDAY ~ Services for C .E. Jack Kreck, of Dallas, retired owner and founder of Kreck Packing Co. of Dallas, will be at 3 p.m. Thursday in the Ed C. Smith & Bro. Funeral Home Chapel in Dallas. Kreck, 71, was killed when his private airplane, which he was piloting, crashed in Temoris, Mexico. A native of Dallas, Kreck founded his packing business in 1934. He was a past director of Guaranty Bank of Oak Cliff, a member of the American Meat Institute and Dallas Sales and Marketing Executives, and former secretary of the Texas-Southwestern Meat Packers Association. Kreck is survived by his wife, Utiv S. Kreck; a son, Joe Thomas Kreck of Dallas; two daughters, Judy Groom and Jackie Lynn Stidham, both of Dallas; and four grandchildren. Burial will be in Grove Hill Memorial Park, Dallas. Dallas Morning News, The (TX) Date: March 26, 1986
