Obituary: Waxahachie Daily Light; Dec 19, 1918 Mrs. Hugh Fowler, sister of Carl Tankersley and Mrs. Albert Yowell, died yesterday afternoon at her home near Ennis from an attack of influenza which developed pneumonia. Mrs. Fowler was the youngest daughter of Mrs. S. S. Tankersley, formerly of Bristol, and was reared in Ellis county. She is survived by a husband and three small children, who are sick with influenza and are unable to attend the funeral at Myrtle cemetery this afternoon.
