Richard M. Murph, 93, of Austin, Texas, passed away April 14, 2011 in Austin, Texas. He was born August 13, 1917 in Atlanta, Texas to John K. and Eula McWilliams Murph. Richard served in the US Army Air Corp in India during World War II. After the war, he married Cecile Kopecky on June 11, 1946 in Austin. She passed away on July 1, 2006. They were founding members of St. Louis Catholic Church. Richard retired as the treasurer for McNair Appliance after more than 15 years of service. He was an avid Texas Longhorn fan and supporter. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, 1 sister, 2 half-sisters and a half -brother. He is survived by his daughter, Nancy Rooks; his sister, Willie Jackson; numerous nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at half past ten o'clock in the morning on Monday, the 18th of April 2011, at St. Louis Catholic Church. 7601 Burnet Road, Austin, Texas with Rev.
