Son of James Pitney and 1777-1845 and Rachel Brown 1780-1841 Married Elizabeth Iva Marshall May 26, 1825 in Coshocton County, Ohio. Children: Alexander Washington, Cordelia W, Drusella, Rachael, Thomas Marshall, Elizabeth Ann, William Stanton, Owen Sanford Married Jane Adams May 13, 1851 in Howard County, Missouri. Married Elizabeth J Weckley October 3, 1877 in Howard County, Missouri. Migrated from Ohio to Missouri in September 1844. He settled on a farm located south of Higbee, Missouri.
