Bio
Lena Pearl Reneau, 72, of Marlin, entered into rest Tuesday, April 19, 2011. Services will be 1 p.m. Friday, April 22, at Adams Funeral Home Chapel with Elder Billy Walker officiating. Burial will be in the Calvary Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Her kind heart led her to serve as a nurses aide for many years at Golden Years and Elmwood Nursing Homes. She loved spending time with her family and friends. She loved gardening, sitting on her porch with a fresh cup of coffee, listening to the birds and laughing with her family. She was a loving mother, sister, friend and grandmother and will be greatly missed by her family and the many lives she touched. Lena was a member of the Restoration Branch Church in Marlin. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Reneau; a son, Ronnie Braswell; a daughter, Susan Diane Braswell; her parents; a sister, Frances Kubiak; and a brother, Bart Collier. Survivors are her daughters, Linda Jobe and husband, Richard, of Marlin, and Sandra Smith and husband, David, of Marlin; sons, Ollie Braswell and wife, Rachel, of Marlin, and Kenneth Reneau and wife, Tammy, of Waco; step-children, Kitty, Terry, Jenae and Lashaun; grandchildren, Jackie Grams, and 14 others along with great-grandchildren; sister, Rosie Palmer, of Dumas; brother, Nick Braswell and wife, Linda, of Chilton; many other family members; and a host of friends.
