Thomas V. Gibbons Thomas V. Gibbons, 45, formerly of North Platte died Feb. 22, 2004, in Scottsbluff. He was born Nov. 27, 1958, in North Platte to Lonnie and Kaye Keithley Gibbons. He graduated from North Platte High School in 1976, and married Robin MacDonald in 1981. He lived in Rock Springs, Wyo., and North Platte before moving to Scottsbluff in 1999. He was a self-employed painter. He was an avid collector. He will be greatly missed by his family. Survivors include his mother of North Platte; two daughters, Nicole Gibbons of New Jersey, and Kaylee Gibbons of North Platte; a son, Zachary (Tonya) Gibbons of Fort Drum, N.Y.; a grandson, Andrew Jay Thomas Gibbons; a sister, Tammy (Scott) Straughan of Deltona, Fla.; a nephew, Justin Straughan; and aunts, uncles, and other relatives. He was preceded in death by his father in 2002; and his grandparents. A memorial has been established. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Carpenter Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Nathan R. Wadewitz of First Evangelical Lutheran Church officiating. Burial will be at Floral Lawns Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 8:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Carpenter Memorial Chapel in North Platte North Platte Telegraph
