PEORIA - Reba E. Maloney, 90, of Greeley, Colo., formerly of Peoria, passed away at 9 p.m. Friday, April 15, 2011, at Northern Colorado Medical Center in Greeley, Colo. She was born on Dec. 23, 1920, in Macon, Mo., the daughter of Charles and Vada (Lucas) Summers. Reba married Paul J. Maloney on Jan. 21, 1939. He preceded her in death on Feb. 15, 2005. Reba and Paul retired in 1973 and moved back to Macon to enjoy their retirement. She moved to Greeley in 2007 to be near her daughter. Reba is survived by six children, James R. (Doris) Maloney of Callao, Mo., Harold (Marlene) Maloney of Peoria, Danny J. (Georgia) Maloney of Dallas, Texas, Marijo (Doug) Jacks of Greeley, Colo., Tim C. Maloney of Bartonville and Kathleen E. Schaffnit of Chicago; 19 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Sacred Heart Church in Bevier, Mo. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Hutton and McElwain Funeral Home in Macon, Mo. Burial will be in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery in Macon, Mo.
