Ada G. Hill Ada G. Hill, 102, of Blue Hill, formerly of North Platte, died April 18, 2011, at Blue Hill. Visitation will be from 3-9 p.m., Wednesday, April 20, at Butler Volland Funeral Home in Hastings. Private family graveside services will be at Floral Lawns Memorial Gardens in North Platte. Adams & Swanson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. North Platte Telegraph April 19, 2011 Ada G. Hill, 102, passed away Monday, April 18, 2011 at Blue Hill Care Center, Blue Hill, Nebraska. Ada was born September 25, 1908 in Comstock, Nebraska to Mertin S. & Ellen (Reider) Amos. On October 14, 1950 she married Roland Hill in Hastings, Nebraska; he preceded her in death in 1971. Ada lived in North Platte, Nebraska from 1950 until 1997; then moved to Hastings. She was a homemaker, worked as a beautician at Bonnie's Beauty Shop and worked at Rigg's Optical. She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in North Platte.Ada was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Roland Hill; three sisters; and two brothers.Survivors are Nieces and Nephews and a host of friends
