The Shreveport Journal, 29 May 1936, Fri., Page 1 Shreveport Barber Struck by Car Dies, No Charges Filed Against Driver Pending Inquiry by Coroner Willis P Butler struck by an automobile at the intersection of Louisiana Avenue and Davis street Thursday night about 8 o'clock Joseph F. Bailey, 33, barber for nine years employed in the New Jefferson hotel shop, died in Charity hospital early Friday morning as a result of his injuries.
