Bio

William was the 3rd child of William Washington Green and Martha Hamm Green. He married Laura Isabella Bailey, the daughter of George Thomas Bailey and Isabella Whittington Bailey on Dec 22, 1887 and lived in Dry Creek, LA. They had 9 children. Bill's wife passed away at the age of 45. He never remarried. He and the children farmed and raised stock. He passed away at the home of his daughter Lettie Greene Cooley in DeRidder at 81.
