Bio

George was the son of Frank Green and his 1st wife Sabra. He was the 1st husband of Mary Elizabeth Whittington. They had 5 children. George was employed by L.C. and N. Railroad. The whole family got smallpox and were quarantined. George was the only member of the family who didn't survive. After a time Mary (Lizzie) remarried Willie King, son of Buck and Laura West.

the inscription on this grave is C. W. Green. It is actually the grave of G. W.. Green. It was printed incorrectly.
