MRS. OBIE G. HESTER DERIDDER - Funeral services for Mrs. Obie G. (Edna Eloise) Hester, 63, will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 22, in Hopewell Baptist Church. Revs. Dan Perego, Eugene Cox and Robert Stewart will officiate. Burial will be in Hopewell Cemetery under direction of Beauregard Funeral Home. Mrs. Hester died at 3:35 a.m. Thursday in a Lake Charles hospital. She was a native of Mittie and a nurses aide at the Beauregard Nursing Home. Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Mrs. Judy Diane Knox of Charleston, S.C., and Mrs. Elaine Jenette Nugent of Horshman, Pa.; one brother, Jessie Leo Smithe of Groves, Texas, and four grandchildren.
