Obituary, The Oklahoman, April 26, 1985 Jewel Snider Camp, formerly of League City Texas and Oklahoma City, died April 24 in Austin Texas. Survivors include her daughters, Janette Poague of Austin, Kay Maxwell of Houston, and Mary Mapes of California; sisters, Juanita King of California, and Esther Stuewe of Wisconsin.; 8 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence (Al) Camp in 1982. Funeral services 11 a.m. Saturday, Smith & Kernke Chapel with burial in the Rose Hill Burial Park. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society in lieu of flowers.
