Dorothy Nolan, 77, of Waco, passed away Tuesday, April 12, 2011. Services will be 3 p.m. Friday, April 15, at OakCrest Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Gholson Cemetery. Visitation with her family will be 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Dorothy was born in McLennan County, Texas, to the late Johnnie and Ruby German. At a very young age, she was adopted by the late James and Stella Hall. She was married to Philip C. Nolan for 43 years. She married Bobbie L. Nolan in 2001. Dorothy enjoyed antique shopping and was known for being an excellent cook. She was preceded in death by her her first husband, Philip; a son, Wesley Dean Nolan; and several brothers. Dorothy is survived by her husband, Bobbie L. Nolan; sons, Philip Nolan and Mark Nolan; daughter, Lodusca Collier; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; brothers, Arnold German and Thomas German; sisters, Eve Goodwin and Elizabeth; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
