Biography June Louise Patty, 62, of Bennington passed away Saturday, April 9, 2011 at her home. June was born June 22, 1948 in Durant to Fairlee Franklin Percell and Ethel Dollie (Miller) Percell. She attended Bennington High School, Grayson County College where she received her Nursing degree. June has been a lifelong resident of Bryan County. She married John Patty on April 7, 1975 in Durant. She was a member of Old Church Presbyterian, loved her family, reading, sitting in her swing, shopping and traveling. She is preceded in death by her parents Fairlee and Ethel Percell. June is survived by her husband of 36 years John Patty of the home, daughters; Ronda Akins and family of Haughton, LA, Katrina Buchanan and family of Bennington and Amanda Vandenburg and family of Bennington, one sister Evelyn Allen of Bennington, one brother Fred Percell of Bennington, special nephew Freddie Allen of Bennington and seven grandchildren Wyatt Rhodes, Elaina Buchanan, Bryce Vandenburg, Jesse Akins, Matthew Buchanan, Cole Vandenburg and Josie Akins. Funeral Services were held 2:00 PM, Monday, April 11, 2011 at Old Church Presbyterian with Bro. Roger Speers officiating. Pallbearers were Jeff Percell, Brad Percell, Hank Jenkot, Erik Patty, Danny Miller and James Percell. Condolences may be sent to the family online at www.brownsfuneralservice.com.
