Bio

Mr. Willie Hubacek passed away Wednesday, December 26, 2007 in Ennis, he was 85. Mr. Hubacek was born in Bristol, Texas to parents Louis Hubacek and Francis Novak on March 9, 1922. He was raised in Bristol and attended Bristol schools. From 1949-1985 he lived in Dallas. In 1985 he moved to Ennis. He served in WWII in the US Army Air Corp. He farmed for most of his life. He was a member of Anthony Drive Baptist Church; a member of the IOOF Lodge in Ennis; and the American Legion. He worked for Nesbitt Metal as a Metal Fabricator; also EISD as a bus driver; and he also worked for Webben Industries, Manufacturer of Car Washes where he retired in 1984. He loved hunting and fishing; he loved to Polka and play his accordian. He is survived by one son, Bill & his wife Nancy Hubacek of Ennis; two daughters; Glenda and her husband Jim Pinkston of McKinney; and Sandra and her husband Mike Higgins of Granbury; two sisters Mary McCord of Ferris and Bessie Daniel of Seagoville; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Services were held at Anthony Drive Baptist Church on Saturday Dec. 29, 2007 at 10am. Rev. Irvan Anthony will officiate, under the direction of JE Keever Mortuary. Visitation will be at Keevers Chapel on Friday Dec. 28th, 6:00-7:30pm. Internment will be in Union Hill Cemetery in Bristol, TX. Pallbearers will be grandsons: Michael Higgins, Jr., Ryan Higgins, Monty Wuistinger, Jason O'Neill, Chris Pickett and nephew Elick Hubacek. JE Keever Mortuary
