Funeral services for Henry Conder, 66, of Qlney were held Tuesday, Dec. 23, at Sputhside Baptist Church with the Rev. Andy Graham, pastor, officiating. Mr.Conder was born Aug. 7, 1937, in Olney to the late Joseph N. and Edna Mae (King) Conder. He died Saturday, Dec. 20,2003, at Wichita Falls. He and Judy Loftis were married Nov. 19, 1954, in Archer City. A lifetime resident of Olney, he was an electrician. He served in the Army National Guard. He was a member of the Baptist church and served with the Olney Volunteer Fire Department from 1963 to 1978. He is survived by his wife, Judy Conder of Olney; three sons, Randy Conder of Wills Point and Alien Conder and Rodney Conder, both of Olney; two daughters, Debbie Gameson and Christie Canada, both of Olney; two brothers, EddieConder of Still water, Okla., and James Short of Clyde; two sisters, Beatrice Dcvers of Eunice, N.M., and Alberta Short of Hereford; 16 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
