Bass, 84, of the Cravens Community, who died at her home, October 1, 1946, were held the following day from the Gravel Hill Church. Interment was in the Gravel Hill Cemetery, under the direction of the Hixson Funeral Home, of Leesville. The deceased is survived by one sister, Mrs. Ida James. Note: daughter of Josiah Joseph Bass and Mary Elizabeth Nash. Grave is unmarked
