Billy Gene Hardisty Sex: M Birth: 1936 in Bennington, Bryan County, Oklahoma Death: 7 Jun 2008 in Tyler, Smith Co., TX Burial: 8 Jun 2008 Wisby Cemetery, Vernon Parish, Louisiana Hardisty, 72, died Friday, June 6, 2008, in the Hospice of East Texas HomePlace, in Tyler, Texas.Funeral services will be Sunday, June 8, 2008, at 5 p.m., in Labby Memorial Funeral Home Chapel, in DeRidder, La. The Rev. Arlen Smith and the Rev. Jeff James will officiate, and burial will be in Wisby Cemetery, in Cravens, La.Visitation will be Sunday, from 9 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home.He was born in Bennington, Okla., and moved to Louisiana with the Army. After his time in military service, he worked for Boise for 21 years, and upon retirement, moved to East Texas.He is survived by companion and caregiver, Cecile Holland, of Murchison, Texas; sons, Bryan Earl (Patty Ann) Hardisty, and Brad Alan Hardisty, of Cravens; brother, Leon Hardisty, of Tulsa, Okla.; sisters, Francis Sanders of Forney, Texas, and Shirley Epperson, of Kenner, La.; and grandchildren, Bret Arron, of Lake Charles, La., and Billie Sioux, Emily Dannielle, and Brady Andrew, all of Cravens.
