The date of death on Bertha Mable Jones' headstone is in error. She died on March 19, 1974, the day after her husband, Joe George Jones. Certificate of Death, State File No. 21323 [Excerpts: Birtha [sic] Mable Jones, born 1 Jan 1903 in Texas, died 19 Mar 1974 in Northwest Hospital, Fort Worth, Tarrant County, Texas at age 71. Her usual residence was 5111 Cowden, Sansom Park, Tarrant County, Texas. She was a widowed homemaker. She was a daughter of Hubert Pratt; mother's name unknown. Informant was Mrs. Bonnie Porter - daughter. Dr. E. N. Abdo III, M.D., attended her from March 12, 1974 to March 19, 1974. Date signed 3-21-74. Burial on March 20, 1974 in Ash Creek Cemetery, Azle, Texas. Registrar File No. 1031, Mar 26 1974.
