Old Lawrence Reminiscences September & December 2004 James Adair was born Feb. 24, 1844, in Pinhook and enlisted in August 1862 at Moulton as a private in Co. B of the 4th Alabama Calvary. He was paroled at Richmond, Virginia, on March 7, 1865. (Source: 1907 Lawrence County Confederate Census)
