*Published Dec. 12, 1949 - The Courier Times, New Castle, IN Mrs. Wray, 82, Dies At Greensboro Mrs. Artema Wray, 82, died Sunday afternoon at the home of her daughter, Mrs. George Dalton in Greensboro following an illness of several weeks. Besides Mrs. Dalton, she is survived by five other daughters: Mrs. Dora Wright of Danville, IL, Mrs. Sally Taylor, Mrs. Maude Jones & Mrs. Scottie White all of Albany, KY and Mrs. John Mahle of New Castle; three sons: Marion Wray of Los Angeles, CA, Dal Wray of Dayton OH and John Wray of Cody, WY; forty grandchildren; and twenty-six great-grandchildren. The body will be taken from the Fox and Macer Funeral Home to the Sewell Funeral Home in Albany, KY, where services will be conducted Wednesday afternoon with burial in the Albany Cemetery.
