"Jennie" daughter of John Derring and Mary Ellen Kilpatrick Lewis. Beloved wife of Mart McClain(son of Martin and Nancy Jane Beckum McClain. Beloved Mother of Luther Lewis McClain, Anna Oma Brownlee McClain Duncan, Charles Burns McClain. From THE MT. PLEASANT RECORD, front page, column 3, Thursday morning, January 5, 1967 - Mrs Jennie Lewis McClain 80 died at her home in the Mt. Joy Community Wednesday night following an illness of about 3 weeks. Funeral services were conducted at McClain Cemetery at Mt. Joy, December 29th for Mrs. McClain who was a native of Perry County and a member of the Mt. Joy Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
