Bio
Ruth Lea Huff, 91, passed away at the IOOF Nursing Home of Ennis on Tuesday, March 22, 2011. Ruth was born in Besmay, Texas on December 25, 1919 to Wilton Ermon and Maud May (Smith) Easley. She grew up in Dallas and graduated from High School in 1937. She married Milton Huff on December 27, 1941 and they made their home in Ennis. She worked for Ennis Business Forms for more than thirty-three years as a press operator. She was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church. She enjoyed baseball and roller skating. She is survived by three sons: Milton Huff and his wife Betty of Murchison, Texas, Anthony Huff and his wife, Rosa Lee of Ennis and Michael Huff of Ennis; three daughters: Beverly Ray and her husband, Sonny Bill Fritz of Monterey, Mexico, Ruth Ann Williams of West, Texas and Donna and her husband, Butch Travis of Palestine, Texas; sixteen grandchildren; thirty great-grandchildren and numerous great-great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, one daughter and two sisters. Graveside services will take place on Monday, March 28, 2011 at 10 a.m. in Myrtle Cemetery with Rev. Ruben Murillo, Jr. officiating under the direction of J.E. Keever Mortuary, Inc.
