Mrs. Della Beatrice Filip of Moulton passed away Tuesday, March 29, 2011 at the age of 97. She was born in Shiner to the late Frank and Mary Kurtz, February 3, 1914. She is survived by one son, Alfred A. Filipp Jr. of Moulton; one grandson, Kirk A. Filipp of Moulton; one granddaughter, Lisa Filipp Johnson and husband Paul of Humble and one great-grandchild, Kandace Johnson of Humble. Mrs. Filipp is preceded in death by her parents, husbands, Alfred C. Filipp Sr. (1948) and George Filipp (1992) and numerous brothers and sisters. Visitation will be 8:00 am Friday, April 1, 2011 at Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Moulton. Rosary will be 7:00 pm Friday, April 2, 2011 at Smith Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Services will be 10:00 am Saturday, April 2, 2011 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Moulton with Father Gabriel Maison officiating. Burial will follow at St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery.
