Bio

Mrs. Oza Lee Francis, 61, of 1515 Division Street, died at 7:15 pm Monday at her residence. Funeral services will be at 2 pm today in the Jones Memorial Chapel in Commerce with the Rev. N. D. Gilmore officiating. Burial will be in Rosemound Cemetery in Commerce. She was born April 20, 1910, in Hopkins County, the daughter of John Miller and A. M. Calhon Miller. She was married to Roy O. Francis in 1967 in Oklahoma. Mrs. Francis had lived in Greenville for 15 years, moving from Campbell. She was a member of Lamar Baptist Church in Greenville. Surviving are the widower of Greenville, four daughters, Mrs. Linda Miller of Quinlan, Mrs. Louise Waldroup of Greenville, Mrs. Bonnie Bloyd of Quinlan and Mrs. Valre Kennedy of Jackson, Tenn., four sons, Bobby Boofer, Claude Boofer and Jim Boofer, all of Greenville and Harvey Boofer of Shrevepot, La.; a sister, Mrs. Pebble Moore of Mangum, Okla,; two brothers, Thadis Miller of Commerce and Charlie Miller of Ridgeway; 16 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
