Prescott, Childress CHILDRESS, Texas - Tommie Prescott, 79, a resident of Soper, Okla., died Saturday in a Bonham, Texas, hospital. Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the Schooler-Gordon Funeral Home with the Rev. Tommy Simms officiating. Burial will be in the Childress Cemetery. Mr. Prescott was born Sept. 13, 1912, in Mahoney, Texas. He moved to Childress at age 13. Survivors include a son, Thomas of Manhattan, Kan., a daughter, Wilma of Missouri; two sisters, Mrs. R.T. Hall and Mrs. Orvel King, both of Childress; and two brothers, Hugh and Bill, both of Childress.
